The Scottish Government’s Programme for Government includes a commitment to support local authority areas to explore a Citizen’s Basic Income Scheme. We now have a unique recruitment opportunity for two posts to take forward the feasibility work in Scotland.
We are looking for a Project Manager to co-ordinate and manage the Scottish Basic Income Feasibility Study. They will lead implementation of a work programme developed in conjunction with the Project Steering Group. The successful candidate will have experience in areas including project management, commissioning research, presenting analysis, promoting effective partnership working and communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
We are also recruiting for a Policy Officer to provide policy, research and related support to North Ayrshire Council as part of the Scottish Basic Income Feasibility Study. The successful candidate will have particular strengths in research, analysis and in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
